Licensing FAQ
How does per-core licensing work?
Netframe Manager licences are calculated on the total number of physical CPU cores managed by a single Manager instance. You purchase a licence key for a core count and manage all VMs on those cores.
Are there per-VM fees?
No. We don't charge per VM, per workload, or per powered-on VM. Your licence covers all VMs on the managed cores.
Can I use Core without a Manager licence?
Yes. Netframe Core is fully functional as a standalone hypervisor. You just won't have centralised cluster management or HA.
Is there a free Manager trial?
Yes, contact us for an evaluation licence key. No commitment, time-limited, all features enabled.
What support is included?
Core users get community support. Manager and Backup licences include priority email/portal support with SLA guarantees. Enterprise 24×7 plans are available.
